If you live in a 45 sqm. condo unit, a 5.1 or other high volume sound systems are useless, unless you want the neighbors to completely hate you. So we just bought the Labtec 2.1 speaker from Octagon Megamall Branch for our desktop.We also connected it to our xbox 360 to have a feel of the battlefield when playing Gears of War 2.Soundwise, it has a balanced distribution of high and low pitches that you'll love. Pricewise, it is better compared to other much cheaper speakers, and competitively better than those expensive ones.
