Our ZOOM G1X Guitar Effects Pedal

I used to have a Boston chorus and distortion effects pedal. My problem is that aside from having too much things to connect from guitar to amplifier, the battery consumption of these two pedals was crazy. And I'm not really a fan of too much wires tangling with one another.

Anyway, I just bought myself the Zoom G1X guitar effects pedal for P3,900.00 with adapter from JB Music in Megamall.

It has a 54 high-quality built-in effects so you don't have to spend much time mixing the effects you want. It also includes 30 built-in pre-programmed drum beats to choose from to aid you with your rhythm.

I know this will sound stupid, but this gadget lacks the capacity to record. However, if you want something that will record your first session to another then I'll probably recommend the Zoom G2.1 --- it has more functions and more capabilities ... but as you would expect, it is 3x more expensive than the G1X.

All in all, this gadget works well for beginners who're serious about guitar playing, and for pro guitar players who're tight in the pocket.
